Sustainability

Sustainability means meeting our own needs without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs

Sustainability

DANTHAI MACHINERY is respecting the 4 pillars of sustainability. Furthermore, we have a clear ESG strategy in order to meet the demands from European Union that will be info force from 2025. We are aware of the steps in the process. We are concerned about the corporate part of sustainability. This view of responsibility encourages businesses to balance long-term benefits with immediate returns, and the goal of pursuing inclusive and environmentally sound objectives. This covers a broad array of possible practices. Cutting emissions, lowering energy usage, sourcing products from fair-trade organizations, and ensuring their physical waste is disposed of properly and with a smaller carbon footprint would qualify as moves toward sustainability.

Another important issue is the circular economy, that is oriented to nature as its role model. In essence, the concept of the circular economy aims to keep raw materials in a closed loop. In this way, resources are maximally used, the need for new ones is reduced, waste is avoided, and the life cycle of products is increased. In short, the waste of today becomes the raw material of tomorrow – the same as in nature.

In this way, the circular economy differs from the current economic system i.e., the linear system, in which products are manufactured, used and disposed of. In practical terms we carefully sort all waste materials (reusable), we constantly work on reducing our needs for energy supplies and we keep large stocks of raw materials to reduce costs of transportation.

As for our social responsibilities we start by offering an inclusive and diverse working environment where everyone can bring their whole self to work. Our staff has the right to organize, we offer good working environment and the majority of our staff has been with us for more than 5 years. Among our staff are 2 female managers and we have several women both in the production and administration.

We adhere to all the human rights as laid down by UN and Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy as well.

This Policy establishes principles that must govern our conduct in order to: a) conform to the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), the UK Bribery Act, and similar anti-corruption laws worldwide and b) more broadly, reinforce our intention and obligation to act honestly and ethically in all of our business dealings.
